ABOUT US

Lets face it, being a mom is hard. The MOMS Club of Portage is part of the International MOMS Club, a non-profit organization designed to provide support, activities, and friendship around the common goal of raising happy, healthy children. The MOMS Club has over 300 chapters and we represent more than 10,000 members. We welcome new members so please contact us to find out more! Our chapter serves the communities of Portage, Kalamazoo, and Vicksburg, Michigan. Our club is committed to supporting moms throughout their motherhood journey!

GOALS

  • To provide a support group for all mothers
  • To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers
  • To help children in the community
  • To perform at least one community service project helping those in need​

PRINCIPLES

  • That women must be free to chose their personal path to fulfilment
  • That, for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job
  • That there is no one right way to raise children

WHAT WE DO

  • Casual get-togethers in places such as parks and members' homes
  • Outings and playgroups for mothers and their children
  • Special parties around the holidays
  • Monthly MOMS Night Out/In
  • Reaching out to women and children in our community through service projects
